HAZAK / Junior Seniors Program / Empty Nesters Club
Individuals, age 55 or older are the largest growing group in North America currently numbering more than 20 per cent of the
average Conservative Congregation's membership. Studies show that fully 25 per cent of all American Jews will be members of
this age group within the next decade.
Our congregation's Junior Seniors Program/Empty Nesters Club or Hazak, was created several years ago to more closely meet the
social intellectual and religious needs of the 55+ population. Taking our guidance from our successful youth program, this
group provides:
- camaraderie and social interaction
- intellectual stimulation
- religious guidance and fun.
The Junior Seniors Program/Empty Nesters Club or Hazak provides Congregation Agudath Israel members a social environment in which
friendship can flourish, mutual concerns can be shared and religious experiences can be enhanced. Join us in any one, a few or
