Music Explorers by Modern Music Academy

Music Explorers is an “intro-to-music” class that is designed for students with limited to no musical experience. As the name suggests, it is an exploratory class that actively engages students in music creation. Their early childhood musical journey will begin by exploring voice, movement, and different instruments, like ukulele or hand percussion! With a small student to teacher ratio, each child will have the chance to learn the basics of every instrument provided. Through this diverse approach to music, students will also develop an understanding of rhythm and pitch. Students will also receive a first look at which form of music making works best for him or her. Our Music Explorers instructor teaches both in local schools and privately at The Modern Music Academy. The class will consist of 30-minutes of hands-on instruction, followed by 15 minutes of exploratory play
