The more parents understand about the developmental process, the better they will be informed about what we do in school, why we do it, and how you can support the process.

On Monday morning, May 14th at 9:00am, we have invited an Occupational Therapist to come speak about handwriting development. 

There will be an overview of how we teach handwriting in school, including all the fine motor skills that serve as a foundation to writing.  We will review the different ages and stages of development, understand appropriate expectations at the different stages and offer some tips and ideas to encourage children at home using fun activities.

The workshop is free and open to parents of all ages.
