Cook Red Lentil Soup with Susan Werk

Join Susan Werk to cook Melissa Clark's famous recipe for red lentil soup and learn the role of food in the famous story of Esau and Jacob. Be sure to bring your own container to take some soup home! Space is limited, and we need to know quantities of supplies, so please register before Monday, November 14. REGISTRATION REQUIRED BELOW

You Are the Jury: Jacob and Rebecca on Trial for Stealing the Blessing: Judge Stuart Rabner, Presiding
Listen to the attorneys for the prosecution and defense, as well as the key witnesses, make their cases, and vote on Jacob and Rebecca's guilt. Preliminaries will begin right after the Torah reading (approx. 11 am), and the full trial will be after Kiddush. Come and voice your opinion! REGISTRATION NOT REQUIRED

During the Parashah Class, we will consider contemporary and classical art based on situations in the story of Esau and Jacob. We will speculate on the artistic choices the artists made in their depictions. All in the eye of the beholder. REGISTRATION NOT REQUIRED
