CAI is once again working with Family Promise of Essex County (formerly Interfaith Hospitality Network) to "host" three families who are living in the structure of a scattered shelter system. Families will have a kitchen to prepare/reheat meals.

How Can You Help?

1. We are collecting grocery items for each of the three families, so they can have fresh foods, like dairy and fruit for the week, as well as hygiene items and gift cards (ShopRite, Target, Grubhub, DoorDash). Please sign up for requested items. You may bring the items to the Main Office between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm from Monday, November 6 through Friday, November 10.

2. We are also providing each family with a prepared meal. You can provide an entire meal or you can ask some friends to help you! Each meal should be delivered to Karen Eisenberg's home either on Sunday, November 12 or Monday, November 13.
