Ilana Kurshan “If All the Seas Were Ink: A Memoir”

Ilana Kurshan, who lives in Jerusalem, is the book reviews editor at Lilith Magazine. She has also translated books of Jewish interest by Ruth Calderon, Benjamin Lau, and Micah Goodman as well as novels, short stories, and children’s books. Her writing has appeared in numerous publications and on Kveller and Tablet. “If All the Seas Were Ink” (finalist for 2017 National Jewish Book Award in Women’s Studies) is a tale of heartache and humor, love and loss, marriage and motherhood, and learning to carry on by turning one page after another.
