The author of six books, Riley, in “Be the Parent, Please,” examines technology’s encroachment into childhood and offers “tough mommy tips” — advice for parents who recognize that unlimited technology access is a problem, from placating an antsy toddler at a restaurant to best practices for keeping teens safe from unsavory sites.
